
The CGEM Label for Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is a formal acknowledgment of the commitment of Moroccan companies to observe, defend and promote the universal principles of social responsibility and sustainable development in their economic activities, social relationships and more generally, in their contribution to value creation.
With this initiative, the CGEM wishes to promote the factors of productive investment attractiveness and long-term growth which are now definitely represented by human development, the respect of basic human rights and rule of law, the quality of employment conditions, the regulation of professional relationships, environmental protection, the transparency and effectiveness of competition rules. A Label Commission has been cretated, during the meeting of the Board of Directors of the CGEM held on the 28th of September of 2006. The mission of this Commission is to implement the rules and procedures governing the granting of this Label.
The reference system of the CGEM Label is the social responsibility charter of the CGEM, adopted on the 14th of December of 2006 by the Corporate National Council.
This charter is defined according to the basic principles of the Kingdom’s Constitution and the provisions of international conventions, related to the respect of basic human rights, environmental protection, healthy governance and fair competition.

We practise our social responsibility in our strategic decisions and our daily operations.

We commit to respecting, preventing attacks against and, to the extent of our means, to promoting the basic rights and legitimate expectations of our stake holders. We see to it that their material and moral interests are taken into account, when they are or may be affected by our managerial behaviours or by the activities of companies under our management or with which we work.
